An ethnopharmacological study from the Chapare region (Puerto Aurora, Puerto Villarroel and Valle del Sacta) shows two groups of typical inhabitans from the site (cambas-benianos and yuras); both groups with good knowledge of the plants and their medicinal applications. A total of 64 medicinal plants have been obtained with their use and their respective taxonomical identification in most cases, lacking those without reproductive organs. Chemical analysis results were also accomplished for some of them of all the plants collected, most are used for combating intestinal parasites and skin diseases. (Résumé d'auteur)
