  abstract = {{A}n ethnopharmacological study from the {C}hapare region ({P}uerto {A}urora, {P}uerto {V}illarroel and {V}alle del {S}acta) shows two groups of typical inhabitans from the site (cambas-benianos and yuras); both groups with good knowledge of the plants and their medicinal applications. {A} total of 64 medicinal plants have been obtained with their use and their respective taxonomical identification in most cases, lacking those without reproductive organs. {C}hemical analysis results were also accomplished for some of them of all the plants collected, most are used for combating intestinal parasites and skin diseases.
