Study of the timing of the expansionist movement of Ghanaian fishermen shows that the Fante and Ewe have developed different strategies, which help explain the logic of the phenomena of permanent settlement and technological change. The historical approach leads to a study of social relationships. (Résumé d'auteur) %S Colloques et Séminaires %B Symposium International ORSTOM-IFREMER %8 1989/07/3-7 %$ 040SOCPEC01
