  abstract = {{W}e describe here the isolation of 6 xanthones and one phenyl-y-pyrone, together with 3-epibetulinic and quercetine from the aerial parts of {H}ypericum laricifolium {J}uss. ({H}ypericaceae), collected in {P}eru. {I}solated compounds have been evaluated against proliferation of human hepatocellular carcinoma {H}ep3{B} cells. {T}he most active compound was xanthone 3, with an inhibitory concentration ({IC}) of 12 µ{M}.},
