However, it is still neglected in research. While it has been undertaken since the 1930s in the study of public policies, the health field is faced with a proliferation of terms that does not facilitate its teaching and organization. This commentary shows that there is no notable difference between implementation research (implementation science) and implementation research. Rather than a semantic debate, it is important to make this analysis more systematic with scientific and interdisciplinary approaches.
