  abstract = {{T}he quality of the implementation of a health promotion intervention is essential to ensure its adaptation to the context and needs of populations. {H}owever, it is still neglected in research. {W}hile it has been undertaken since the 1930s in the study of public policies, the health field is faced with a proliferation of terms that does not facilitate its teaching and organization. {T}his commentary shows that there is no notable difference between implementation research (implementation science) and implementation research. {R}ather than a semantic debate, it is important to make this analysis more systematic with scientific and interdisciplinary approaches. {R}esearch concerning the implementation of a health promotion intervention must seek to understand how to make our actions more equitable and more effective.},
