  abstract = {{T}his conference report synthesises the discussions and lessons learnt from a workshop with international and local experts and practitioners held in {N}oumea, {N}ew {C}aledonia ({F}rance, {O}ceania) from 17th to 21st of {O}ctober 2022. {T}he workshop was part of a larger transdisciplinary process aimed to anticipate and react to marine heatwaves, coastal erosion and sea level rise as well as ocean deoxygenation and acidification in {F}iji and {N}ew {C}aledonia. {D}rawing on the seven resilience principles, this report stressed the need to incorporate multiple perspectives in finding new pathways for comprehensive sustainable climate change adaptation and marine policy in {F}iji and {N}ew {C}aledonia.},
