@article{fdi:010089990, title = {{A}lyxia {B}anks ex {R}.{B}r. in {N}ew {C}aledonia : a clarification of several species complexes, nomenclatural notes, and a description of three new species}, author = {{L}annuzel, {G}. and {M}unzinger, {J}{\'e}r{\^o}me and {V}androt, {H}. and {G}âtebl{\'e}, {G}.}, editor = {}, language = {{ENG}}, abstract = {{T}he genus {A}lyxia {B}anks ex {R}.{B}r. is partially revised for {N}ew {C}aledonia, with 31 species recognised. {T}he species complex {A}lyxia tisserantii {M}ontrouz. is discussed and divided into seven species with existing names, and the synonymy is updated accordingly. {A}lyxia loeseneriana var. macrocarpa {B}oiteau is elevated to species status due to new flowering material with the name {A}. paniensis {L}annuzel nom. nov., stat. nov. created to accommodate it, due to the preexisting {A}lyxia macrocarpa {K}oord. {D}etailed study of {A}lyxia caletioides ({B}aill.) {G}uillaumin ex {D}äniker revealed it was in fact made up of two distinct taxa; a new separate species, {A}lyxia urceolata {L}annuzel, sp.nov. is therefore described. {T}wo new species are also described following their recent collection: {A}lyxia humboldtensis {L}annuzel & {G}âtebl{\'e}, sp.nov. is restricted to the summit of {M}ount {H}umboldt, and {A}lyxia minimiflora {L}annuzel, sp.nov. is known from schistaceous cliffs around {N}oum{\'e}a. {F}inally, several nomenclatural issues are discussed, and an updated key to the genus in {N}ew {C}aledonia is provided.}, keywords = {{NOUVELLE} {CALEDONIE} ; {PACIFIQUE}}, booktitle = {}, journal = {{P}hytotaxa}, volume = {649}, numero = {1}, pages = {1--43}, ISSN = {1179-3155}, year = {2024}, DOI = {10.11646/phytotaxa.649.1.1}, URL = {https://www.documentation.ird.fr/hor/fdi:010089990}, }
