  abstract = {{T}wo new species of {E}ndiandra {R}.{B}r. are described from {N}ew {C}aledonia. {E}ndiandra humboldtiana {M}unzinger & {M}c{P}herson, sp. nov. is distinguishable from {E}ndiandra lecardii {G}uillaumin and {E}. neo- caledonica {K}osterm. only by rather subtle details of flower size (3 mm long versus 2-2.5mm), leaf indument and distribution, even though molecular data indicate that it is genetically closer to an undescribed species from {R}oches de la {O}uai{\`e}me. {E}ndiandra trichogyna {M}unzinger & {M}c{P}herson, sp. nov. had previously been confused with {E}. baillonii ({P}ancher & {S}{\'e}bert) {G}uillaumin, but is easily distinguished from that and all other species present in {N}ew {C}aledonia by its densely pubescent ovary. {A} preliminary identification key is presented.},
