@article{fdi:010088665, title = {{R}heological context of emplacement of the {D}ori, {G}orom-{G}orom and {T}ouka {B}ay{\`e}l granitic plutons (northeast {B}urkina {F}aso, {W}est {A}frican {C}raton)}, author = {{Y}am{\'e}ogo, {A}. {O}. and {O}uiya, {P}. and {T}raor{\'e}, {A}. {S}. and {S}awadogo, {S}. and {R}ousse, {S}onia and {M}acouin, {M}. and {N}aba, {S}.}, editor = {}, language = {{ENG}}, abstract = {{T}he reconstitution of the geodynamic processes of the {E}burnean orogeny in the time span around 2.1 {G}a in {D}ori area is here carried out through the examination of the internal structures and microstructures of the {D}ori, {G}orom-{G}orom and {T}ouka {B}ay{\`e}l granitic plutons. {T}he radiometric ages of these plutons vary between 2164 {M}a and 2148 {M}a. {T}he internal structures have been evidenced using the {A}nisotropy of {M}agnetic {S}usceptibility ({AMS}) method and the examination of microstructures through thin sections under optical microscope. {T}he organization of the internal fabrics strongly suggests a diapiric emplacement for the {D}ori and the {T}ouka {B}ay{\`e}l plutons in a still soften crust. {T}he pluton of {G}orom-{G}orom seems to be constituted of four small plutons. {T}hree of them, coalescent in the southern part, are emplaced by the diapirism and the fourth in the northern part can be interpreted as emplaced in a tension gash. {T}he overall disposition of the fabrics lets suggest a synchronous emplacement in accordance with the dextral sense of the {T}i{\'e}b{\'e}l{\'e}-{D}ori-{M}arkoye ({TDM}) shear zone in a regional {E}-{W} shortening context responsible of a crustal thickening. {T}he two emplacement mechanisms (diapirism and tension gash) identified through the internal fabrics testify a rheological contrast of the crust during this early period of the {E}burnean {O}rogeny.}, keywords = {{B}urkina {F}aso ; {P}aleoprotrozoic/{E}burnean ; {P}lutons ; {M}agnetic fabrics ; {M}icrostructures ; {R}heology ; {BURKINA} {FASO}}, booktitle = {}, journal = {{J}ournal of {A}frican {E}arth {S}ciences}, volume = {208}, numero = {}, pages = {105081 [23 ]}, ISSN = {1464-343{X}}, year = {2023}, DOI = {10.1016/j.jafrearsci.2023.105081}, URL = {https://www.documentation.ird.fr/hor/fdi:010088665}, }
