  abstract = {{N}ew {C}aledonia is a tropical archipelago with very high biodiversity conservation challenges. {I}ts flora is still imperfectly known while its ecosystems are increasingly degraded by various threats, including mining activity. {I}n this context, there is an urgent need to describe the most threatened species so they can be accounted for in situ conservation programs. {I}n this article, three species new to science are described and illustrated: {C}roton barrabeae {B}ruy ({E}uphorbiaceae), {G}eijera tartarea {T}.{G}.{H}artley ex {M}unzinger & {B}ruy ({R}utaceae) and {T}ristaniopsis planidisca {L}annuzel ({M}yrtaceae). {A}ccording to {IUCN} criteria, each of these species is highly threatened by mining activity.},
