[2010. {M}osquitoes and their control, 2nd edn. {B}erlin: {S}pringer] (38%), and the {CD}-{ROM} of {S}chaffner et al. [2001. {L}es moustiques d'{E}urope: logiciel d'identification et d'enseignement - {T}he mosquitoes of {E}urope: an identification and training programme. {M}ontpellier: {IRD}; {EID}] (32%), while other tools were used by less than 10% of responders. {R}esponders reporting the identification of mosquitoes using the {M}os{K}ey{T}ool were significantly better (80% correct responses) than non-{M}os{K}ey{T}ool users (69%). {M}ost responders (63%) used more than one {ID} tool. {T}he feedback from responders in this study was positive, with the exercise being perceived as halfway between educational training and a fun quiz. {I}t raised the importance of further expanding training in mosquito {ID} for better preparedness of mosquito surveillance and control programmes.}, keywords = {{E}xternal {Q}uality {A}ssessment ({EQA}) ; {I}dentification ; {K}ey ; {V}ector ; {G}amification ; {EUROPE} ; {AFRIQUE} {DU} {NORD} ; {MOYEN} {ORIENT}}, booktitle = {}, journal = {{P}arasite}, volume = {29}, numero = {}, pages = {45 [9 p.]}, ISSN = {1252-607{X}}, year = {2022}, DOI = {10.1051/parasite/2022045}, URL = {https://www.documentation.ird.fr/hor/fdi:010086312}, }
