  abstract = {{T}his chapter describes the process of building a network of agroecological women farmers in the {V}ale do {R}ibeira region with the support of the {B}razilian feminist {NGO}, {SOF} ({S}empreviva {O}rganiza{\c{c}}ão {F}eminista), since 2015. {L}ocated in south-eastern {B}razil, {V}ale do {R}ibeira became known first for its minerals, then for its water resources, biodiversity and arable land. {S}ince colonial times, these assets have been the target of different systems of appropriation, which have exerted strong pressure on worker - who went from being slaves in the past to "family farmers" in the present - and natural resources.},
