  abstract = {{A} new species of {S}chismatogobius, a freshwater goby, is described from {S}ulawesi ({I}ndonesia). {I}t differs from other species belonging to the genus by a high percentage of genetic divergence in partial {COI} gene (652 bp) and by several characters, including the number of pectoral fin rays, the pectoral fin colour pattern, the jaw length/head length ratio and the preanal length.},
