It explains the attractiveness of the territory and the stimulation of a new dynamic of local economic development based on the richness and discovery of the local heritage. Geoparks affirm the land base and the recognition of this heritage as an economic resource, a vector for local geotourism development in the sustainable development context. Whether in the artistic, journalistic, cultural, educational or geographical fields, the uses of digital mapping are now expanding rapidly.
