  abstract = {{D}uring a brief reconnaissance of small coastal streams in {F}rench {G}uiana, four species of the genus {O}ecetis were captured. {T}hey are the first specific records from this territory. {T}wo species are new and herein described: {O}ecetis meronai n. sp., the third neotropical species of the testacea species-group and {O}ecetis hydrecoi n. sp., the first neotropical species of the lais species-group.},
