  abstract = {{T}hree {H}ololepta ({L}eionota) {M}arseul, 1853 ({C}oleoptera: {H}isteridae) species associated as predators of the agave weevil, {S}cyphophorus acupunctatus {G}yllenhal, 1838 ({C}oleoptera: {D}ryophthoridae), were determined after field collections in agaves crops from {G}uerrero, {J}alisco, and {M}orelos, {M}exico. {A}n illustrated taxonomic key is provided for easy recognition of {H}ololepta polka ({M}arseul, 1853), {H}. vicina {L}e{C}onte, 1851, and {H}. yucateca ({M}arseul, 1853). {H}ololepta vicina is recorded for the first time from the {M}exican states of {J}alisco, and {G}uerrero.},
