Snow, Munzinger & Callm. (Myrtaceae) is proposed for New Caledonia. It is easily diagnosed from other Eugenia L. species by its typically three prominent palmately radiating secondary veins arising from each side of the midvein near the base (or lower third) of the leaf, and densely its punctate blades.
