  abstract = {{T}he genus {D}upliciporia is considered valid based on observation of the type species, and is considered the senior synonym of {P}arasteganoderma and {L}iliaoralis. {T}he new combinations {D}upliciporia cephaloporum ({M}achida and {A}raki, 1990) and {D}upliciporia cataluphi ({K}orotaeva, 1994) are formed. {A} new species, {D}upliciporia lanterna, is described from the digestive tract of {P}riacanthus hamrur from the waters off {N}ew {C}aledonia, {S}outh {P}acific. {D}upliciporia lanterna n. sp. differs from its congeners in its elongate body and its rectilinear vitelline fields. {D}upliciporia sp. (= {P}arasteganoderma sp. of {E}l-{L}abadi et al. [2006]) from {P}ristigenys niphonia from the {G}ulf of {A}qaba, is briefly described and figured. {O}ther zoogonids reported from {N}ew {C}aledonian waters are {Z}oogonus pagrosomi from {L}ethrinus atkinsoni and {L}ethrinus genivittatus, {P}arvipyrum acanthuri from {A}canthurus blochii, {D}eretrema combesae and {D}. combesorum from {P}arupeneus multifasciatus and {L}ecithostaphylus nitens from {T}ylosurus crocodilus.},
