  abstract = {{L}es femmes vivant avec le {VIH} (virus de l_immunod{\'e}ficience humaine) en {G}uadeloupe et en {M}artinique d{\'e}butent le plus souvent leurs grossesses sans demander conseil {\`a} leur m{\'e}decin et sans b{\'e}n{\'e}ficier de l_accompagnement m{\'e}dical de la pr{\'e}vention de la transmission de la m{\`e}re {\`a} l_enfant. {E}lles pr{\'e}sentent leurs grossesses comme des grossesses « accidentelles ». {L}_analyse de 22 entretiens biographiques de femmes vivant avec le {VIH} permet d_identifier trois types de trajectoires ayant abouti {\`a} des grossesses dites « accidentelles » ou non programm{\'e}es. {C}es trajectoires renvoient {\`a} des significations diff{\'e}rentes de la maternit{\'e} pour les femmes concern{\'e}es : une maternit{\'e} autoris{\'e}e et s_inscrivant dans des projets d_avenir jusqu_alors compromis par le diagnostic de l_infection {\`a} {VIH}, une maternit{\'e} valorisante pour des femmes ne pouvant s_investir dans un autre r{\^o}le positif et une maternit{\'e} « ressource» dans un espace migratoire peu accueillant.  {R}eproductive trajectories and meanings of motherhood among women living with {HIV} in {G}uadeloupe and {M}artinique ({F}rench {W}est {I}ndies) {W}omen living with {HIV}/{AIDS} in {G}uadeloupe and {M}artinique frequently begin their pregnancies without asking their doctor's advice and without benefiting from medical care for the prevention of mother to child transmission. {T}hey present their pregnancies as "accidental". {T}he analysis of 22 biographical interviews of women living with {HIV} allows to identify three types of trajectories that lead to "accidental" or unplanned pregnancies. {T}hese trajectories correspond to different meanings of motherhood for the concerned women: an authorized motherhood linked to future plans, previously jeopardized by the {HIV} diagnosis; a motherhood that raises the self-esteem of women who have limited possibilities to embrace other social roles; a motherhood as a social and affective "resource", in a hostile migratory space.},
