  abstract = {{T}he identity of {A}ngraecum gracile {T}houars and its nomenclatural history are clarified. {A}lthough most recently assigned to {C}hamaeangis, the fragmentary type is best placed in {A}ngraecum, as indicated by the drawing and the table accompanying {T}houars's description. {T}o date this {M}auritian endemic is known only from the type; three specimens previously associated with it by {F}inet from the {C}omoro {I}slands and {L}a {R}eunion belong instead to {A}ngraecopsis trifurca ({R}chb. f.) {S}chltr.},
