De type onde cin&#xE9;tique ou onde diffusante, il adapte le mod&#xE8;le de Green et Ampt et l_&#xE9;quation de Manning-Strickler en tenant compte d_une r&#xE9;tention de surface. Avec cinq param&#xE8;tres, dont deux mesur&#xE9;s pour d&#xE9;crire l_&#xE9;tat d_humectation initial du sol et trois optimis&#xE9;s, le mod&#xE8;le reproduit l_avancement du front ruissel&#xE9; et le d&#xE9;bit de colature observ&#xE9;s lors d_irrigations sur prairie dans la plaine semi aride de la Crau (Sud de la France). Les param&#xE8;tres optimis&#xE9;s sont: la conductivit&#xE9; hydraulique &#xE0; saturation du sol, constante; le coefficient de Strickler et la r&#xE9;tention de surface, d&#xE9;croissants durant la saison avec l_&#xE9;volution de la flore et du microrelief. Didactique et convivial, le mod&#xE8;le peut aider &#xE0; optimiser l_irrigation, dans le but d_obtenir l_infiltration d&#xE9;sir&#xE9;e en apportant le moins d_eau possible.  Developed in an MS Excel spreadsheet, Calhy is a one-dimensional model of border irrigation on a uniform plot for a soil underlain by a well draining layer. With the kinetic or diffuse wave assumption, it fits the Green and Ampt model and the Manning-Strickler equation, taking into account surface retention. With five parameters, two of which are measured and describe the initial soil moisture and three are optimized, the model reproduces the advance and outflow observed during several irrigations on a grassland in the semi-arid Crau plain (southern France). The optimized parameters are: hydraulic conductivity of soil at saturation, constant over time; the Strickler coefficient and the surface storage, decreasing during the season probably due to the development of flora and the microrelief. Being didactic and user friendly, the model can help to optimize irrigation, with the aim of obtaining the desired infiltration by providing as little water as possible.</dc:description>
