  abstract = {{A} new {C}offea species from {C}ameroon is described and compared with the other species of {C}entral {A}frica. {C}offea charrieriana {S}toff. & {F}. {A}nthony can be recognized easily using morphological characters of leaves, flowers and fruits. {M}oreover, it is the first record of a caffeine-free {C}offea species for {C}entral {A}frica and only the second report for the {A}frican continent. {C}ameroon is one of the three centres of diversity for the genus {C}offea, showing a similar number of species to that of {T}anzania.},
