  abstract = {{R}andallia serenei {R}icher de {F}orges, 1983, is shown to be a distinct species and not a synonym of {T}anaoa distinctus ({R}athbun, 1894). {T}wo other species currently placed in {R}andallia, {R}. granulata {M}iers, 1886, and {R}. speciosa {C}hen, 1989, are also transferred to {T}anaoa {G}alil, 2003. {A} new genus and new species of leucosiid crab, {G}alilia narusei, is also described from {N}ew {C}aledonia. {W}hile superficially resembling species of {T}oru {G}alil, 2003, it differs markedly in its very granular carapace, rounded intestinal tubercles, short male chelipeds and ambulatory legs as well as a gently bent male first pleopod. {T}he nomenclature of {R}andallia pustulilabris {A}lcock, 1896, is also discussed, and {I}hleorandallia {S}tevcic, 2005, a nomen nudum, is shown to be a junior synonym of {T}oru.},
