  abstract = {{T}he nomenclatural identity of species {C} of the {A}nopheles minimus complex is resolved by excluding the available junior synonyms of the nominotypical member of the complex and naming it {A}n. harrisoni {H}arbach and {M}anguin, sp. n. {A}nopheles formosaensis {I} {T}suzuki, {A}n. christophersi {T}heobald and {A}n. christophersi var. alboapicalis {T}heobald are retained as junior synonyms of {A}n. minimus {T}heobald based on the provenance of type specimens in geographical areas where {A}n. harrisoni is not known to occur. {A} lectotype is designated for {A}n. vincenti {L}averan, which thus becomes the senior name of the specific entity known as {A}n. jeyporiensis {J}ames. {M}olecular data that diagnose {A}n. harrisoni are reviewed and the holotype female is contrasted with the neotype series of {A}n. minimus. {A}vailable information on the bionomics and distribution of the new species is included.},
