  abstract = {{T}he {P}raomys complex contains some of the most important agricultural pests of {A}frica, including {M}astomys species. {W}e describe the development of nine supplementary microsatellite markers isolated from {M}astomys huberti. {W}e show the potential utility of {M}. huberti microsatellites as population markers for two other species of {M}astomys, and two other species of the {P}raomys complex, {M}yomys daltoni and {P}raomys cf. rostratus.},
