  abstract = {{W}e report the isolation of 23 microsatellite loci obtained from a ({GA})(n)-enriched genomic library of {O}enocarpus bataua var. bataua. {T}he average number of alleles per locus, the mean observed and expected heterozygosities for these microsatellite loci revealed a high level of variability. {T}he transferability of the developed markers to other {O}enocarpus species and other genera within the {E}uterpeae tribe was high, except for the {H}yospathe genus.},
