%X In the region of Kolda (Southeast Senegal) two communities sharing the same cultural background develop competing methods as far as the exploitation of the land is concerned. At the time when the Jaawaringa are busy setting up pasture land reserves, the Gaabunke, for their part, are setting up a real strategy to settle the land. This creates tough territorial disputes. Because of the socio-economic and political evolution, the conflicts end up affecting all the other aspects of the life of the population. (Résumé d'auteur)
