  abstract = {{C}lones were obtained in vitro, as a first record, from the {T}unisian isolate of the potato tuber moth granulosis virus ({PTM} {GV}). {U}sing three successive selections with plaque agarose overlay, 12 clones were established. {A}mong them, five were selected for their better in vitro multiplication after being tested with a specific {DNA} probe and amplified both in vitro and in vivo. {R}estriction endonuclease analysis of the {DNA} extract demonstrated minor genotype differences between the clones, indicating the genetic heterogeneity of the viral population of the {T}unisian isolate of {PTMGV}.
