@article{PAR00008937, title = {{O}bservations glaciologiques et hydrom{\'e}t{\'e}orologiques en zone de montagne : quelques probl{\'e}matiques et perspectives actuelles = {G}laciological and hydrometeorological observations in mountainous areas : some current issues and perspectives}, author = {{H}ingray, {B}. and {D}edieu, {J}. {P}. and {L}ebel, {T}hierry and {O}bled, {C}. and {S}icart, {J}ean-{E}mmanuel and {S}ix, {D}. and {V}incent, {C}. and {W}agnon, {P}atrick and {Z}in, {I}.}, editor = {}, language = {{FRE}}, abstract = {{P}our de nombreux domaines scientifiques ou op{\'e}rationnels, l_observation hydrom{\'e}t{\'e}orologique est d_une importance capitale. {E}lle constitue la base principale de toutes les {\'e}tudes et analyses visant {\`a} comprendre et/ou mod{\'e}liser les interactions climat-environnement-soci{\'e}t{\'e} ainsi que leurs {\'e}volutions spatiales et temporelles. {E}lle est aussi l_information principale sur laquelle s_appuie l_estimation des ressources et/ou des risques hydrologiques que ce soit pour leur gestion en temps r{\'e}el ou leur prise en compte dans les {\'e}tudes prospectives li{\'e}es au changement global en cours. {E}n zone de montagne, l_int{\'e}r{\^e}t de l_observation hydrom{\'e}t{\'e}orologique est d_autant plus marqu{\'e} que les ph{\'e}nom{\`e}nes hydrom{\'e}t{\'e}orologiques y sont souvent plus intenses et plus variables qu_ailleurs. {L}_int{\'e}r{\^e}t de l_observation hydrom{\'e}t{\'e}orologique pour ces r{\'e}gions est illustr{\'e} ici pour diff{\'e}rents enjeux actuels de soci{\'e}t{\'e}, qu_ils rel{\`e}vent du domaine de la recherche, du domaine op{\'e}rationnel, ou de la surveillance environnementale. {N}ous pr{\'e}sentons {\`a} ce titre des exemples tir{\'e}s du service d_observation {G}lacio{C}lim et d_autres observatoires ou de r{\'e}seaux d_observations mis en place pour r{\'e}pondre {\`a} ces enjeux. {N}ous {\'e}voquons aussi certaines des difficult{\'e}s associ{\'e}es aux mesures proprement dites, {\`a} leur repr{\'e}sentativit{\'e} en zone de relief contrast{\'e}, {\`a} leur continuit{\'e} temporelle et durabilit{\'e}, {\`a} leur valorisation enfin. {Q}uelques perspectives de recherche et de d{\'e}veloppement, visant {\`a} l_am{\'e}lioration des syst{\`e}mes d_observation existants par le biais notamment du d{\'e}veloppement d_instrumentations du futur sont finalement propos{\'e}es. {H}ydrometeorological observations are the basic material for a number of scientific and operational issues. {T}hey are required for studies aiming at understanding and/or modeling climate-environment-society interactions along with their spatial and temporal variations. {T}hey constitute also the basic information for estimating hydrological resources and risks, for their real time management or for prospective studies that aim to foresee adaptations strategies required by societies to face changes in resource and risks induced by ongoing global change. {I}n mountainous areas, such observations are even more important as hydrometeorological events are more pronounced and variable than anywhere else. {H}ere, the interest of hydrometeorological observations systems such as {GLACIOCLIM} in these regions is highlighted for various key hydrological issues, taken from the operational, research or environmental monitoring domains. {S}everal observatories or measurement networks developed to meet corresponding objectives are presented. {L}imits of observations, associated to the measurement itself, to their spatial representativeness, to their temporal coverage and permanence are discussed. {S}ome perspectives for improving current observations systems are finally suggested.}, keywords = {{H}ydrometeorological observations ; {M}ountains ; {E}nvironmental monitoring ; {G}lobal change ; {P}rocesses ; {M}odelling ; {F}orecasting ; {H}ydrological risks ; {W}ater resources ; {R}egionalisation}, booktitle = {}, journal = {{H}ouille {B}lanche}, numero = {2}, pages = {5--11}, ISSN = {0018-6368}, year = {2012}, DOI = {10.1051/lhb/2012009}, URL = {https://www.documentation.ird.fr/hor/{PAR}00008937}, }
