  abstract = {{T}hree new genera and five new species of epialtid majoid crabs are described from deep water in the western {P}acific. {T}wo new species of {O}xypleurodon {M}iers, 1886: {O}. sanctaeclausi n. sp. and {O}. annulatum n. sp. are described from the {P}hilippines. {N}ew specimens of the rare {O}xypleurodon carbunculum ({R}athbun, 1906) from the {H}awaiian {I}slands are also recorded. {T}hree new genera are established: {G}arthinia n. gen. for {G}. disica n. sp. from the {S}olomon {I}slands; {G}uinotinia n. gen. for {G}. cordis n. sp. from {N}ew {C}aledonia and {G}. lehouarnoi n. sp. from {F}iji and {T}onga; and {L}aubierinia n. gen. for {S}phenocarcinus nodosus {R}athbun, 1916, and {R}ochinia carinata {G}riffin & {T}ranter, 1986.},
