  abstract = {{D}actylogyrids from #{L}abeo parvus$ {B}oulenger, 1902, #{L}. alluaudi$ {P}ellegrin, 1933, and #{L}. rouaneti$, {D}aget, 1962, were studied in {A}tlantic coastal basins in {W}est {A}frica. {N}ine species (6 new) of #{D}actylogyridae$ were found : #{D}actylogyrus longiphallus$ {P}aperna, 1973, #{D}. falcilocus$ {G}u{\'e}gan, {L}ambert, and {E}uzet, 1988, and #{D}ogielius kabaensis$ sp. n. from #{L}. parvus$ populations in coastal rivers of {G}uinea, {S}ierra {L}eone, and {L}iberia; #{D}actylogyrus longiphalloides$ sp. n. and #{D}ogielus kabaensis$ sp. n. from #{L}. alluaudi$ in the river {B}agbwe in {S}ierra {L}eone; #{D}actylogyrus sematus$ sp. n., #{D}. jucundus$ sp. n., #{D}. omega$ sp. n., and #{D}ogielius rosumplicatus$ sp. n. from #{L}. rouaneti$ in the {K}onkour{\'e} system in {G}uinea. #{D}actylogyrus brevicirrus$ {P}aperna, 1973, characteristic of #{L}. parvus$ in the large {S}ahel-{S}udan basins, was not found in coastal rivers of {G}uinea, {S}ierra {L}eone, and {L}iberia. #{L}abeo alluaudi$ from the rivers {C}avally and {N}ipou{\'e} in {C}{\^o}te d'{I}voire and {L}iberia were not parasitized.
