  abstract = {{I}n order to resolve the population connectivity of bigeye tuna ({T}hunnus obesus) within the {I}ndian {O}cean, we analyzed thousands of genome-wide markers of individuals from a broad geographic area of the {I}ndian {O}cean as well as from locations in the {P}acific and {A}tlantic {O}ceans. {O}ur results support a single panmictic population of bigeye tuna within the {I}ndian {O}cean isolated from the {A}tlantic and {P}acific {O}ceans.},
