  abstract = {{S}edimentological and geochemical data were obtained for bed sediments from a tropical estuary environment in {V}ietnam in {O}ctober 2014, {J}anuary 2016, and {N}ovember 2016. {T}he data include grain-size distribution, percentage of clay, silt and sand, percentage of organic matter, concentration of total particulate phosphorus ({TPP}), concentration of particulate inorganic phosphorus ({PIP}), concentration of particulate organic phosphorus ({POP}), percentage of total nitrogen ({TN}), percentage of total carbon ({TC}), trace metals concentrations ({V}, {C}r, {C}o, {N}i, {C}u, {Z}n, {A}s, {M}o, {C}d, {P}b) and major elements ({A}l, {F}e, {M}n). {G}eochemical indexes ({E}nrichment factor {EF} and {G}eo-accumulation {I}ndex {I}-geo) and sediment quality guideline (mean {E}ffect {R}ange {M}edian quotients) were calculated.},
