The way in which the State regulates this work contributes directly to the depoliticization of the poor, and more widely, to neoliberal governance. The article shows how this governance, beyond instrumentalizing the work of poor women, also individuates them and creates new hierarchies. The novelty of these policies resides in the activation and transfer of responsibility to these individuals for the scheduled failure of their permanent efforts towards self-entrepreneurship, which constitutes an antithesis to the notion of (social) rights. %$ 100TRAVA ; 106PROSO
