@article{fdi:010074858, title = {{T}axonomic revision of the {A}frican genus {G}reenwayodendron ({A}nnonaceae)}, author = {{L}issambou, {B}. and {H}ardy, {O}. {J}. and {A}tteke, {C}. and {S}tevart, {T}. and {D}auby, {G}. and {M}batchi, {B}. and {S}onke, {B}. and {C}ouvreur, {T}homas}, editor = {}, language = {{ENG}}, abstract = {{G}reenwayodendron ({A}nnonaccac) is a tropical {A}frican genus of trees occurring mainly in rain forests. {U}ntil recently, {G}reenwayodendron contained only two species: {G}reenwayodendron oliveri from {W}est {A}frica and {G}reenwayodendron suaveolens from {C}entral and {E}ast {A}frica. {G}enetic data, using chloroplast haplotypes and nuclear microsatellites as well as morphometric analyses, provided important information on the delineation of species. {G}reenwayodendron now contains six species, including two new species ({G}reenwayodendron glabrum {L}issambou, {H}ardy & {C}ouvreur, sp. nov. and {G}reenwayodendron littorale {L}issambou, {D}auby & {C}ouvreur, sp. nov.). {G}reenwayodendron suaveolens var. gabonica and {G}reenwayodendron suaveolens subsp. usambaricum are recognised as distinct species: {G}reenwayodendron gabonicum comb. nov. and {G}reenwayodendron usambaricum comb. nov., respectively. {A} key, detailed descriptions of morphology and geographic distributions, as well as notes on their ecology and uses are presented for all species. {P}reliminary conservation assessments following {IUCN} criteria are also provided. {T}wo species are preliminarily identified as threatened, one as {E}ndangered and one as {V}ulnerable.}, keywords = {{A}nnonacme ; {G}reenwayodendron ; tree ; rainforest ; new species ; {AFRIQUE} ; {ZONE} {TROPICALE}}, booktitle = {}, journal = {{P}hytokeys}, numero = {114}, pages = {55--93}, ISSN = {1314-2011}, year = {2018}, DOI = {10.3897/phytokeys.114.27395}, URL = {https://www.documentation.ird.fr/hor/fdi:010074858}, }
