  abstract = {{H}ost specimens were sampled in the {R}iver {S}anaga ({C}ameroon) from {J}anuary to {O}ctober 2014 and {A}ugust 2015. {T}hree new species, {P}rotoancylodiscoides sanagaensis n. sp., {P}rotoancylodiscoides valentini n. sp. from {C}hrysichthys nigrodigitatus and {C}hrysichthys longidorsalis in the middle course and downstream, {P}rotoancylodiscoides spirovagina n. sp. from {C}hrysichthys nigrodigitalus downstream, are herein described. {T}hese new helminths differ from the congeneric species by the size of the haptoral sclerites, the male copulatory organ and the morphology of the vagina.},
