The data obtained during the sampling campaigns from 1971 to 2002, at the hydrometric stations, water depth H [cm], suspended solids concentration C [g.l(-1)] and sediment discharge Qs [kg.s(-1)], used to quantification of sediments' transport were analyzed to describe the inter-annual variability and seasonal cycles. The analysis of discharge, at the wadi El Abtal station, shows an inter-annual variability from 40.7m(3). s(-1) in 1974 to 0.48m(3).s(-1) in 1997. The abrasion rate of the basin of the wadi Mina, during this study period, was estimated at 211 t.km(2).y(-1), this value is relatively low compared to those found for other regions with similar hydrological regime, and average concentration value over the same period was estimated at more than 34 g.l(-1) in the sub-basin controlled by the Sidi Aek Djilali station and more than 12 g.l(-1) in the sub basin controlled by the station of wadi El Abtal. %$ 062 ; 068
