  abstract = {{S}imira robusta ({R}ubiaceae), a new species from the {A}tlantic {R}ainforest of the {E}spirito {S}anto state, south-eastern {B}razil, is here described and illustrated, and compared with similar species. {I}t most resembles {S}. grazielae, from which it differs by the larger inflorescences, antrorse pubescent flowers and fruits, and by its larger fruits. {I}ts habitat and conservation status are discussed. {A} key to the species of {S}imira from {E}spirito {S}anto state is provided.},
