  abstract = {{T}he new species {E}ugenia plurinervia {N}. {S}now, {M}unzinger & {C}allm. ({M}yrtaceae) is proposed for {N}ew {C}aledonia. {I}t is easily diagnosed from other {E}ugenia {L}. species by its typically three prominent palmately radiating secondary veins arising from each side of the midvein near the base (or lower third) of the leaf, and densely its punctate blades. {T}he new species is only known from c. 660 individuals at a single location in north-western main island {G}rande {T}erre and assigned a preliminary conservation status of "{C}ritically {E}ndangered" following {IUCN} {R}ed {L}ist {C}ategories and {C}riteria.},
