  abstract = {{M}onts de {C}ristal {N}ational {P}ark in northwest {G}abon is one of the most species rich places in {C}entral {A}frica. {H}ere, we describe two new species, one in {A}nnonaceae and one in palms. {U}variopsis citrata {C}ouvreur & {N}iangadouma, sp. nov. is unique in the genus by emitting a strong lemon scent from the crushed leaves and young branches. {L}accosperma cristalensis {C}ouvreur & {N}iangadouma, sp. nov. is a rattan that lacks acanthophylls on the cirrus and has few pinnae. {C}omplete descriptions, photographic illustrations, ecological information and preliminary {IUCN} conservation status are provided. {F}or both species a data deficient ({DD}) status is proposed. {T}hese new species underline once again that the {M}onts de {C}ristal {N}ational {P}ark is yet incompletely known botanically.},
