  abstract = {{T}he fern genus {H}ymenophyllum ({H}ymenophyllaceae) so far encompassed not more than five species in western {C}entral {A}frica. {N}ew investigations into {BRLU} and {P} collections on {H}ymenophyllaceae specimens collected in western {C}entral {A}frica allowed us to identify a new species for the area. {T}he species {H}ymenophyllum senterreanum sp. nov. displays indusia with an original and particular campanulate-like shape, usually observed in the distinct trichomanoid lineage. {I}t seems endemic to sub-montane rainforests of coastal west-south {C}ameroon and {E}quatorial {G}uinea, and is currently known only from four localities. {T}he novelty is considered as {E}ndangered according to {IUCN} {C}ategories and {C}riteria. {A}n updated key is proposed for the genus {H}ymenophyllum for the region.},
