%X A new species of Stiphodon, an amphidromous goby, is described from streams of three islands in Indonesia, Java, Bali and Lombok. It differs from other species of the genus by a combination of characters including 14-15 pectoral rays, a second dorsal fin with nine segmented rays, fewer scales in predorsal, transverse forward and transverse back series, and a diagnostic golden and black pattern in male.
