  abstract = {{A} new species of {S}tiphodon, an amphidromous goby, is described from streams of three islands in {I}ndonesia, {J}ava, {B}ali and {L}ombok. {I}t differs from other species of the genus by a combination of characters including 14-15 pectoral rays, a second dorsal fin with nine segmented rays, fewer scales in predorsal, transverse forward and transverse back series, and a diagnostic golden and black pattern in male.},
