  abstract = {{A} database providing information on mosquito specimens ({A}rthropoda: {D}iptera: {C}ulicidae) collected in {F}rench {G}uiana is presented. {F}ield collections were initiated in 2013 under the auspices of the {CE}nter for the study of {B}iodiversity in {A}mazonia ({CEBA}: http://www.labexceba.fr/en/). {T}his study is part of an ongoing process aiming to understand the distribution of mosquitoes, including vector species, across {F}rench {G}uiana. {O}ccurrences are recorded after each collecting trip in a database managed by the laboratory {E}volution et {D}iversite {B}iologique ({EDB}), {T}oulouse, {F}rance. {T}he dataset is updated monthly and is available online. {V}oucher specimens and their associated {DNA} are stored at the laboratory {E}cologie des {F}orets de {G}uyane ({E}cofog), {K}ourou, {F}rench {G}uiana. {T}he latest version of the dataset is accessible through {EDB}'s {I}ntegrated {P}ublication {T}oolkit at http://130.120.204.55:8080/ipt/resource.do?r=mosquitoes_of_french_guiana or through the {G}lobal {B}iodiversity {I}nformation {F}acility data portal at http://www.gbif.org/dataset/5a8aa2ad-261c-4f61-a98e-26dd752fe1c5 {I}t can also be viewed through the {G}uyanensis platform at http://guyanensis.ups-tlse.fr},
