  abstract = {{F}low{CAM} was assessed as a tool for studying small (80-1000 mu m) metazooplankton communities by comparing the abundances estimated using {F}low{CAM} with those estimated using a stereomicroscope for eight groups of organisms. {W}ith the exception of poecilostomatoid copepods, estimates of the number of organisms in samples using {F}low{CAM} were similar to those using the stereomicroscope. {T}hese results suggest that {F}low{CAM} is an effective tool for enumerating small metazooplankton.},
