  abstract = {{T}he ongoing treatments for the {F}lora of the {G}uianas ({G}uyana, {S}urinam, and {F}rench {G}uiana) and the monographic study of the tribe {S}ipaneeae prompted a revision of {N}eobertiera, discovering the distylous condition of this genus, and three undescribed species, one probably restricted to {G}uyana, and two probably restricted to {F}rench {G}uiana. {B}ecause of these novel observations and the different kinds of inflorescence of the newly described species, a generic description, with yet another amendment, a key to the species, illustrations, and material examined are presented.},
