@article{fdi:010060364, title = {{C}onserva{\c{c}}ão das florestas do projeto de assentamento {B}enfica, sudeste da {A}maz{\^o}nia}, author = {{C}oelho, {R}.{D}.{R}. and {M}iranda, {I}.{D}. and {M}itja, {D}anielle}, editor = {}, language = {{POR}}, abstract = {{I}n this study we analyze the floristic and structure of forest remnants in {B}enfica {S}ettlement {P}roject located in the municipality of {I}tupiranga, in southeastern {A}mazon. {E}leven areas of forests located in different properties and different levels of disturbance were selected. {W}ithin each area, plants in one plot of 500 m(2), were surveyed considering three strata: upper, middle and inferior. {T}he species were classified in five life forms: tree, scrub, liana, palm and herb; and two functional groups, the pioneer and forest species. {T}wo houndred and eighty-six (286) species, 173 genera and 68 families were found. {M}ost woody species (51 %) occurred in only one stratum. {T}he richness of species was 70 % of estimated richness by {J}ack-nife of first order. {T}he percentage of rare species was high, 138 species occurred in only one area. {I}n all strata, the trees had higher density, except in inferior stratum, where the grasses were denser. {T}he forest species, in all strata, were dominant. {T}here was significant difference between the forest and pioneer in all forms of life, in all strata. {T}he principal components analysis showed heterogeneity among the studied plots, forming three groups which appear to be related to the different disturbance levels.}, keywords = {life forms ; functional groups ; richness ; {AMAZONIE} ; {BRESIL}}, booktitle = {}, journal = {{C}iencia {F}lorestal}, volume = {23}, numero = {1}, pages = {1--17}, ISSN = {0103-9954}, year = {2013}, URL = {https://www.documentation.ird.fr/hor/fdi:010060364}, }
