| Résumé | The paper, which aims to describe some aspects of the acculturation process in a rapidly developing society, focuses on the manners and customs related to food in the modern appartment complexes of Seoul. While the pervasive western LDK model is related to the transformations of Korean society, behavior still influenced by rural values, as well as a traditional use of domestic space, seem to persist. However, the confusion between western style and modernity leads to ambiguous attitudes towards "tradition". (Résumé d'auteur) |
