The ground level radiometrical measurements are in agreement with the satellite reflectance measurements. Covariography has showed significative interelation between reflectance and internal soil properties (clay content, organic matter content...) and between reflectance and superficial soil dynamics (stability, destructuration, accumulation, crusting). Simple models have been proposed for determining the clay content in soil. The applying of these models has shown that the ground level CIMEL radiometer measurements overestimates the soil clay content in a range from 3 to 9%. On the other hand, SPOT satellite underestimates this content of 7% with radiometrical bands and of 9% with the indices.
